PNB Life Agents—“Victorious in Vietnam”
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam — Select members of PNB Life’s Agency sales force enjoyed a victorious 4-day summer escapade in the “Paris of Asia”, last April 29 to May 2, 2010.
The delegates visited the War Museum, on the first day, which contained exhibits related to the American phase of the Vietnam War. They appreciated more Vietnam’s richness in culture and history after visiting Reunification Palace (also known as the Independence Palace), Notre Dame Cathedral, and the General Post Office
Their second day started with a tour in the amazing Cu Chi Tunnels used by the guerillas during the war. There, they also witnessed how rice paper is made. At Ben Thanh Market, they did their shopping of Vietnamese products and delicacies in.
The agents had a full day trip to the watery world of Mekong Delta on their last day in Vietnam. As they cruised along the river, they were able to visit rice fields and coconut candy workshops, while enjoying tropical fruits and Southern traditional music. They rode a small boat to discover a natural canal of Ben Tre province and then took a short walk in the coconut farm to visit a typical house in Mekong Delta. They also visited the famous Vinh Trang Pagoda.
